Growing up, I have always had a passion for style and creative projects. My garment creation journey began in 2021 where I took one basic sewing class and began to teach myself about pattern making and various sewing techniques. I fell in love with creating my own bikinis at an affordable rate. I was determined to create custom pieces specially made for my friends and myself. With that, I wanted to create a brand where young women everywhere can feel confident and comfortable in unique, adorable bikini styles.

My goal is to overall exceed the boundaries of traditional bikini prints and styles through taking inspiration from vintage inspired clothing and twisting them to charming bikini styles. I am passionate about creating pieces that embrace your femininity and exert that in and outside of the water ā€” from a night out to various outdoor events to surfing and exploring our beautiful ocean.Ā

With Pretty in Pink, I am passionate about mindful consumption and production and fulfilling my brand as sustainably as possible.

Through every stitch, each piece is constructed with love and intention to ensure a beautiful experience for each of my consumers. I believe in giving my consumers excitement and happiness in their orders from the product itself, to the freebies in packaging.

I produce my collections in small batches and standby product on a made-to-order basis as well as sourcing material based on order flow to ensure limited waste in production.

materials & sourcing

I am dedicated to the sourcing process of my materials to align with my sustainability goals.

My pieces are made of surplus and recyclable fabrics. I source additional fabrics and notions from my locally owned businesses in Hawaii and Los Angeles as well as small online businesses to solidify ethical production with businesses that I personally trust.

This sourcing process goes from construction to packaging. My orders are packed with eco friendly materials and carefully sourced notions.

Since 2024, each piece that Pretty in Pink has to offer, is carefully constructed by me ā€” from sourcing, cutting, pinning, sewing, packing, etc. ā€” I have grown to celebrate my craftsmanship and sustain a conscious design process. Behind every action for Pretty in Pink, is myself.

I am dedicated to continue growing my brand and community as time goes on, extending my goals and values to others.
